On the 12th of January, the EACB in conjunction with the other European co-operative organisations* joined forces at European and national level to mark the start of this exceptional year. In this context, a press conference took place at the Copa-Cogeca office in the European quarter.
At this occastion, the co-operative sector called European and national policy makers to take into account their specificities with policy measures that are not harmful - and on the contrary- are conducive to co-operatives. In this spirit, the European co-operative organisations launched their political agenda for 2012 ‘Co-operatives for Europe – Moving forward Together’.
