Research on cooperative banking
As promoting the cooperative banks business model is one of our mission, the EACB is supporting the research on co-operative banking by being a partner to the researchers, or by publishing its own studies. Since 2013, we also stimulate the research with our Award for Young Researchers on Cooperative Banks. The growing interest of the academic community and stakeholders in the specificities of the cooperative banking model and the need to stimulate further research on the sector are among the reasons that led to the setting up of the Cooperative ID Forum & Academic Advisory Group in January 2022.
