The European Association of Co-operative Banks (EACB) is pleased to support the 18th Euricse International Workshop on Cooperative and Responsible Finance for Development, taking place on 17 and 18 June 2027 at the University of Trento, Italy.
Organised by Euricse in collaboration with the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Trento and Federcasse – the Italian Federation of Cooperative Credit Banks, with the support of the EACB, the workshop will bring together scholars and researchers from different countries to explore the role of cooperative and responsible finance in fostering sustainable, inclusive and resilient development.
Call for Papers
The organisers are inviting researchers and scholars to submit abstracts addressing the challenges and opportunities facing cooperative and responsible finance.
Against a backdrop of a growing distance between financial markets and the real economy, the workshop will examine how financial intermediation can better account for not only financial returns, but also social, environmental and territorial impacts.
Particular attention will be given to the role of cooperative banks and other community-oriented financial institutions in connecting capital with local development needs, as well as to the transformations brought about by digitalisation, new technologies, regulatory developments and changing economic conditions.

Practical information
The workshop will take place in person in Trento, at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Trento. Remote participation via Zoom will be available for listeners only.
