The EACB Secretariat is looking for an trainee to support its communication activities for a period of 6 months.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The trainee will work under the supervision of the Lead Communications and will report to her directly. Their portfolio will comprise the following tasks:
- Campaigns & Strategy: Execution support: Help implement campaigns across multiple platforms; Brainstorming: Participate in strategy sessions to plan campaigns.
- Social Media: Support the creation and launch of engaging posts for LinkedIn and Twitter (X).
- Newsletter: Format newsletters using the HubSpot tool.
- Analytics: Track performance metrics for the EACB website, newsletter, and social media (e.g., likes, shares, reach) and prepare reports.
- Graphic Design: Create basic visuals for posts using Canva and format publications or brochures (e.g., EACB newsletter, leaflets, other papers).
- Events: Assist in the organization of EACB events and webinars.
- Intranet: Maintain and update the members’ website.
- Presentation Materials: Create PowerPoint decks and briefs for meetings.
- Media Monitoring: Track news coverage related to the association.
- Press List Management: Update contact lists for journalists and media outlets.
PROFILE
- Ongoing university degree (preferably Master’s level) in communications, economics, business administration and/or European Affairs
- Distinct interest in European Public Affairs and a good knowledge of EU institutions
- Fluent written & spoken English - Knowledge of other languages (in particular French, German…) is welcome
- Excellent drafting and analytical skills, capacity to work independently
- Good computer skills (Canva, Microsoft 365, Google analytics is a plus)
