RZB Group: Fit for the future through sustainability and how we express sustainability

 

Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich AG (RZB) is the lead institute of the Raiffeisen Banking Group in Austria. Its basic principles go back to the ideas of Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen. For him, social solidarity, self-help and sustainability were guiding principles for doing business.

With its affiliated companies (RZB Group), RZB is a major economic force in Austria and in many of the countries in which it operates. It subscribes to sustainable corporate management and to the related social responsibility. Its role in business is marked by real responsibility towards customers, employees, shareholders and society.

Targeted aim as a company is to act responsible extending beyond individual measures. The sustainability management is responsible for the strategic and organizational planning and implementation of all sustainable relevant initiatives. This includes the fields of “economy/core business”, “ecology”, “human resources” and “social commitment” for the RZB AG, the RBI AG and the network banks in CEE.
