In this difficult socio-economic moment, linked to the health emergency, it is necessary to rethink local economies, linking the recovery to a turning point that can guarantee greater relevance and integration of aspects related to social, climatic and environmental sustainability.
The "sustainable revolution" was officially launched in 2018, with the publication of the Action Plan of the European Commission and the numerous and consequent legislative initiatives now being defined. Today, however, the understanding of the strategic and operational impact that this revolution will have on the banking industry is still limited.
To deepen the topic, Federcasse organizes a series of online seminars. The first, which will take place on Thursday 10 December, from 10.15 to 13.00, will have the theme "Il Green Deal Europeo e le sfide della transizione. La finanza mutualistica è finanza sostenibile!”.
The focus of the event will be the framework of the policies adopted or being adopted by European legislators and the possible impact on the strategies of banks.
The EACB will be represented by Elisa Bevilacqua, Head of the department of Green and Sustainable.
