EACB comments on revised Draft EBA Guidelines on internal governance under Directive 2013/36/EU

The Euroepan Association of Co-operative Banks (EACB) welcomes the opportunity to comment on the EBA consultation on the revision of the Guidelines on internal governance under Directive 2013/36/EU. In particular in view of the Covid-19 crisis, the EACB members call for more time for application of the revised Guidelines. Moreover, the EACB would like to express concerns regarding the EBA’s mandate to set up a detailed framework for loans and other transactions with members of the management body and their related parties.
