“Against the backdrop of COVID-19 and the importance of a green recovery, the consultation on the sustainable finance strategy marks an important point in time. We gladly contribute to it from the perspective of our local and regional cooperative banks and our clients”, says Bouke de Vries, Chair of the EACB’s Green and Sustainable Finance Working Group.
The European Association of Co-operative Banks (EACB) has submitted its feedback on the renewed Sustainable Finance Strategy. The Strategy aims to investigate which further climate actions and environmental policies could be taken to better address the ambition of the European Green Deal.
Our members welcome the opportunity to comment on the very structured questionnaire, providing the cooperative banks’ point of view on how the strategy should be developed to better address the challenges related to the sustainable transition.
