EACB Key Messages and Comments as regards Crisis Management

The European Association of Co-operative Banks supports the Commission’s objective to manage bank failures in an orderly way. Certainly, the recent crisis has underlined the importance of a proper functioning and effective recovery and resolution mechanism. Nevertheless, the members of the EACB think that a number of aspects need to be taken into consideration with regard to the envisaged aims and the current situation.
